The United Nations sponsored graph below, ten years outdated (2011), suggests that the world’s population could explode to nearly 16 billion by 2100 unless significant efforts are made to control population growth. The World’s population is currently accelerating at 1.1% every year[1] and could easily surpass the 16 billion depicted in the graph below. The low prediction (6.2 billion) could be
achieved through widespread famine via the proposed elimination of fossil fuels (US Democrat Plan) which would ground the 40 million tractors in the world and starve many billions of human beings. Replacement of fossil fuel powered tractors with electricity-powered tractors at an approximate cost of $500,000 per tractor (plus implements) equals a total cost of roughly 20 trillion dollars or the bulk of the US National Debt. The consumption of fossil fuels worldwide continues to accelerate (roughly 2% per year)[1] despite dire warnings from the IPCC[2] about accelerating atmospheric levels of carbon dioxide and global temperatures.
Within the Overton Window[3] certain limits are placed on the permitted discussion of any topic as defined by Norm Chompsky;
“The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum—even encourage the more critical and dissident views. That gives people the sense that there’s free thinking going on, while all the time the presuppositions of the system are being reinforced by the limits put on the range of the debate.”
When it comes to population control and the Climate Change debate, the US Democrat plan to eliminate Climate Change through world starvation and the do-nothing, feckless Republican Plan will both lead to disasters, as predicted by Jonathon Franzen in the New Yorker,[4] who authored What If We Stopped Pretending? The climate apocalypse is coming. To prepare for it, we need to admit that we can’t prevent it. Quote: “If you’re younger than sixty, you have a good chance of witnessing the radical destabilization of life on earth—massive crop failures, apocalyptic fires, imploding economies, epic flooding, hundreds of millions of refugees fleeing regions made uninhabitable by extreme heat or permanent drought. If you’re under thirty, you’re all but guaranteed to witness it.”
In other words, within the Overton Window, within the limits of discussion permitted today, Climate Change will not be solved, and this will cause the deaths of many billions of human beings through starvation, plagues and other cataclysmic events.
The simple fact that Climate Change can be solved by sequestration into soils and into lumber for construction is not yet within the Overton Window, mostly because that solution would be achieved by individuals, and not by power-hungry politicians, by propagandists in the media, nor by researchers looking for their next research handout. There are little profits and power in actually solving Climate Change, and therefore there is little popularity for discussions about it. The proven and obvious solutions to Climate Change are simply not permitted to exist within the Overton Window. There is An Earthly Chance[1] that individuals will awaken to the propagandistic lies about Climate Change that they have been spoon fed and that at some point they will demand that authentic solutions will be popularized and enacted.
